Role Summary - Yard Operations Specialist

The Yard Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting delivery operations and assisting teams with on-site tasks.



Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday
  • Home every evening
  • Local driving responsibilities
  • Early morning shifts starting around 4 AM
  • Work hours ranging from 10 to 12 hours, with a maximum of 14 hours


Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of safety by adhering to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines and maintaining safety protocols
  • Ensure a tidy work environment by organizing tools and securing the site daily to mitigate hazards
  • Load and unload materials from trucks
  • Provide assistance to team members as needed
  • Operate mobile equipment safely on-site
  • Support maintenance activities, including lubrication and minor repairs
  • Organize inventory within the warehouse
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels
  • Verify incoming shipments against invoices to ensure accuracy and quality


Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks effectively
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Experience in mining, quarrying, or construction is advantageous
  • Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical skills preferred

Physical Demands
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to load products, manage hoses, and climb on and off vehicles
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of heavy materials
  • Engage in pushing and pulling tasks with equipment
  • Regular bending and squatting required


Your Background
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of relevant experience preferred
  • Minimum age requirement of 18
