Job Title: Business Intelligence Product Owner

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Product Owner to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Product Owner, you will be responsible for championing and utilizing Agile Product Development Frameworks to drive data, reporting, and analytic products that delight business stakeholders and accomplish the goals of the Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the Renewal Business Intelligence Product development team(s), business stakeholders, and IT Leadership to ensure a clear understanding of what is needed in the product/application.
  • Maintain and prioritize the backlog for one or more product groups to ensure the development team is working on Product Backlog Items that maximize business value and deliver consistent results that align to the broader Business Division and IT strategies.
  • Work closely with Business Partners to define and prioritize the Product Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities.
  • Ensure articulated creation of product backlog tasks & User Stories that help the Scrum Team better understand the functionality they need to deliver.
  • Engage in PO-to-PO communication as part of Scaled setting across Product teams to coordinate team roadmap commitments/progress, uncover dependencies and system architecture considerations.
  • Help identify and create metrics to measure the impact of releases and features.
  • Provide regular updates to business partners on product changes and work closely with stakeholders to provide updates on work in progress and connect on future prioritization and business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Scrum Certification Preferred: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO).
  • A minimum of 5 years experience with Information Technology/Software Development/Operations/Infrastructure efforts with progressive responsibility.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, etc.).
  • Tools: Working experience with utilizing and configuring JIRA and other Agile Planning Tools (CA Agile Rally, VersionOne, etc.).
  • Display past ability to facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
