AEM Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AEM Architect to join our dynamic team at Brooksource. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and overseeing the implementation of AEM solutions that meet our clients' business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture and design of new AEM implementations from concept through delivery.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AEM solutions.
  • Define best practices, governance, and design standards for AEM projects.
  • Integrate AEM with third-party tools, platforms, and APIs.
  • Oversee and guide the development teams during the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the architectural vision.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with AEM design patterns and performance standards.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to developers, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AEM components, templates, workflows, and services.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in a technical architect or lead developer role.
  • Proven experience in leading new AEM implementations from scratch, including architecture and design.
  • Strong understanding of AEM architecture, including templates, components, dialogs, workflows, and Sling models.
  • Expertise in AEM 6.x and beyond, including AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Experience with Java, J2EE, OSGi, Sling, JCR, and Apache Felix.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes, code management, and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Experience integrating AEM with third-party tools and platforms (e.g., analytics, commerce).
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Adobe certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert - AEM Architect) are highly desirable.
