Cedar Recovery is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our medically assisted recovery program, you will work collaboratively with our clinical team to deliver comprehensive medical care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide initial medical diagnosis and treatment plans
- Identify and mitigate medical and health risks
- Formulate and implement differential diagnosis based on patient history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and medication management
- Remain current with best practices and contribute to ongoing education and outreach activities
- Make referrals to other healthcare professionals and community agencies as needed
- MSN from an accredited college or university
- DEA License and DEA X-Waiver in good standing
- Current licensure by the Tennessee State Medical Licensure Board
- No reportable items to the National Practitioner Data Bank within the last 10 years
- Active TennCare Number
- At least one year of experience in treating opioid or other substance use disorders
