Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Specialist

Cedar Recovery is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in delivering high-quality medical care to patients in our medically assisted recovery program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial medical assessments and diagnose patients
- Identify and mitigate medical and health risks
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Cedar Clinical Team
- Record and review medication management in accordance with state and agency standards
- Document patient observations, interventions, and plan of care in a timely and accurate manner
- Remain current with best practices and contribute to continuing education and outreach marketing activities
- Make referrals to other health professionals and community agencies as needed
Requirements:
- MSN from an accredited college/university
- DEA License and DEA X-Waiver in good standing
- Currently licensed by the Tennessee State Medical Licensure Board
- No reportable items to the National Practitioner Data Bank within the last ten years
- Active TennCare Number
- One year of experience in treating opioid or other substance use disorders
