Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Therapist to join our team at Soliant. This is a contract position for the 2024-2025 school year, requiring a minimum of 35 hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $25-$28, with a competitive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, and Matching 401(k). Weekly paychecks and stipends are also provided (terms and conditions apply).

Responsibilities

As a Behavior Therapist, you will work in Special Education classrooms or provide one-on-one support to students in grades K-12. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and creating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services and developing Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)
  • Supporting students with mild, moderate, or severe behaviors, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Non-Verbal students, ADHD, and Elopers
  • De-escalating situations and providing restraint training when necessary
  • Data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform educational programming
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • An active RBT certification from the BACB
  • A Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in a relevant field, such as behavior analysis or special education
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in schools, with CPI training preferred
