Milk Receiver

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Milk Receiver to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a key member of our receiving team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of incoming milk and other products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the intake receiving area and assure proper flow of incoming milk and other products.
• Load out cream and perform all quality tests.
• Test milk for contamination, quality, and antibiotics.
• Perform scheduled cleaning activities.
• Direct truck drivers on parking and checks for security of milk.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good work history.
• Ability to use simple writing, adding, subtraction, whole numbers, and carrying out instructions.
• Ability to use direct reading instruments and devises in which interpretation is not required.
• Perform basic quality testing as necessary.
• Understand receiving and shipping system to effectively troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at once.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
