Job Title: Plant Mechanic II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Mechanic II to join our team at MarBorg Recovery. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Material Recovery Facility (MRF) equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing complex mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on MRF equipment, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, conveyor belts, and other equipment.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to source parts and materials.
  • Collaborate with maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
