As a Senior Research Engineer at Softworld, a Kelly Company, you will lead the development of AI solutions that transform the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Take charge of the technical vision for new customer-value concepts enabled by AI, including prototyping, integrations of cutting-edge 3rd party solutions, and demonstration.
  • Design and develop prototype solutions that integrate AI capabilities into future generations of the vehicle, cloud, and connected device ecosystem.
  • Engineer principled models and methods.
  • Communicate progress effectively through presentations and reports, demonstrating business transformation potential.
  • Author patents and publish research in top conferences (AAAI, NeurIPS, IJCAI, etc.).

Requirements

  • PhD in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience in industry, with emphasis on practical AI deployment challenges.
  • 5+ years of relevant project experience involving hands-on Software Engineering deployment.
  • 3+ years of experience leading project teams.
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science and Data Management best practices.
  • In-depth technical knowledge demonstrated in one of the above areas of AI.
  • Passion for research and development at the edge of human knowledge.

Stand Out from the Crowd

  • Experience with gesture-based or embodied interaction.
  • Experience architecting AI solutions for user-activity recognition and/or modeling of mood and emotion.
  • Authorship of relevant open-source software following best practices.
  • Industry experiences integrating solutions within larger system architectures.
  • Track record of publication in top tier venues.
