Cloud Network Security Specialist at Unreal Gigs



Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Network Security Specialist to join our team at Unreal Gigs. As a Cloud Network Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to protect our cloud network infrastructures. You will work closely with our IT security teams, network engineers, and cloud architects to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and Implement Cloud Network Security Measures: Architect and deploy security solutions for cloud networks, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
  • Monitor for Vulnerabilities and Threats: Use monitoring tools such as AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center, or Google Cloud Security Command Center to detect and respond to threats.
  • Manage Access Controls and Authentication: Configure and oversee identity and access management (IAM) policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and secure user access protocols.
  • Develop and Enforce Security Protocols: Create and implement security policies tailored to our cloud network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate on Cloud Architecture and Strategy: Work closely with cloud architects and network engineers to integrate security measures into the design and deployment of cloud solutions.
  • Support Compliance and Risk Management Efforts: Assist with audits and compliance efforts by documenting security controls and processes.


Requirements:


  • Cloud Security Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud security services and tools in major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Network Security Knowledge: Strong background in implementing and managing network security measures.
  • Threat Detection and Incident Response: Experience in detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate complex security concepts.
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience Requirements: 5+ years of experience in network or cloud security engineering.
