About the Job
Red Carrot is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to join our business development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing proposal efforts and working closely with business development and operational personnel to develop and deliver winning, high-quality Federal Government proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of proposal development: pre-proposal planning activities, kickoff meeting, schedule management, action/issue tracking, proposal structure, compliance, technical writing and team guidance, review team coordination, and production.
  • Develop and maintain proposal management-related artifacts for each opportunity, including kickoff materials, master outline, compliance matrix, schedule, technical writing, daily stand-up agenda, proposal team contact list, action items, and color team review briefings.
  • Collaborate with business development and operational leadership to obtain adequate resources for accomplishing a high-quality proposal submission in a timely manner.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or related field, required. An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: 5 to 10 years of demonstrated experience managing winning competitive Federal Government proposals primarily around the Marketing/ Multimedia industry.
Skills: Knowledge of the proposal development life cycle and understanding of Shipley or other proposal development processes, ability to effectively manage on site/in-person and off site/largely remote proposals, excellent work ethic and organizational skills, ability to successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously, effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of management.
