We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Anatomy and Physiology courses at Lamar State College-Port Arthur. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the development of curriculum-based outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Anatomy and Physiology courses, including lecture and lab sections, in a face-to-face and online format.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to promote student learning and success.
- Maintain current knowledge and expertise in the subject area of teaching responsibility.
- Commit to the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum-based ACGM outcomes and the Core Curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
- Master's degree required with 18 graduate hours in the teaching area.
- Ability to deal with students, faculty, and staff members in a professional manner.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and manage projects and assignments.
- Teaching experience in a 2-year college or university.
$2,200 per 3-hour semester course; additional pay for teaching a lab $838 during summer semester.
