We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice to teach courses in our department. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Criminal Justice and 18 graduate hours in the field. The successful candidate will be able to plan, schedule, and manage projects and assignments, and will have the ability to deal with students, faculty, and staff members in a professional manner.
Responsibilities- Provide quality and innovative instruction in the classroom
- Maintain current knowledge and expertise in the subject area of teaching responsibility
- Commit to the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum-based ACGM outcomes, and the Core Curriculum outcomes
- Complete all necessary paperwork within required timeframes
- Attend Faculty meetings and professional development as required
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Criminal Justice and 18 graduate hours in the field. Teaching experience in a two-year college or university is preferred.
The salary for this position is dependent upon course load, and the work hours are part-time. The position is open until filled.
