About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Key Holder to join our team at Goodwill of Western New York. As a Retail Key Holder, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner, offering assistance and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system to accurately process sales, handle cash, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Ensure proper cash handling procedures, including processing coupons and discounts, and maintaining a secure and organized cash handling area.
  • Clean and maintain the front doors, counters, glass, and sales floor, including dusting cases and returning shopping carts and baskets to designated areas.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up displays, arranging merchandise, and rotating stock to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Support the sales floor team by restocking shelves, folding and hanging merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Participate in promotional activities, including setting up displays, creating customer information materials, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive and welcoming experience for customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, or otherwise move up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
