Assembly Line Technician

Adecco is looking for a dedicated Assembly Technician to become an integral part of our client's expanding team. In this position, you will contribute significantly to their operations by performing assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of intricate components in a low-volume, high-precision manufacturing setting. This opportunity offers competitive pay at $23.10/hour with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position following the contract period.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Overtime may be available)

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent not mandatory
- Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly
- Preferred background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous
- Previous assembly experience in a Clean Room environment is beneficial
- Proficiency in Windows-based and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
- Capability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute assembly, alignments, and final configurations of components.
- Carry out assembly tasks utilizing various hand tools, fixtures, and testing equipment.
- Gather test data and utilize databases and other office software to document the manufacturing process
- Engage in resolving production challenges and making informed process decisions
- Conduct a diverse range of troubleshooting to identify and rectify issues
- Perform equipment setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance
- Adhere to audit and safety protocols
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Compensation Details: $23.10 per hour
