Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assembly, alignments, and final configurations of components
  • Collect test data and use databases and office programs to document the manufacturing process
  • Participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions
  • Assist in the selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
  • Perform equipment set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenance
  • Follow audit and safety guidelines
  • Participate in continuous process improvement
Requirements
  • 1 year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience required
  • Background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes required
  • Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement a plus
  • Previous assembly experience in a Clean Room environment a plus
  • Experience with Windows-based and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a team of 8-10 colleagues
  • Ability to analyze and address problems independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to support projects, perform training, and work efficiently as part of cohesive teams
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Physical Requirements/Work Environment
    • Ability to lift up to 35lbs
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language, and educational backgrounds
    • Ability to work in appropriate PPE
Education

Accredited High School Diploma/GED

Work Hours

Full-Time; Second Shift; either Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday 2:00 PM- 10:30 PM

Training will be on day shift Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM for a month or less.
