We are looking for a Project Engineer to enhance and develop our water and sewer infrastructure practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct civil engineering tasks in water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance systems, emphasizing site design components such as layout, yard piping, roadways, and stormwater management.
  • Engage in engineering planning and design projects, performing conceptual and preliminary design activities, including site visits and overseeing fieldwork.
  • Create civil engineering plans and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater initiatives.
  • Draft technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
  • Assist in coordinating the work of sub-consultants and other engineering disciplines.
  • Review contractor submissions for adherence to contract specifications and evaluate requests for information during construction.
  • Participate in field activities, including pilot testing and site reconnaissance.
  • Support project managers with permitting submissions for treatment facilities and infrastructure projects, coordinating with governmental agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering.
  • Professional Engineer registration.
  • Application of engineering principles, including critical thinking and innovative techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting individual.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling software.
  • Active participation in professional associations.
