Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hematology/Oncology team at DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide exceptional care to our patients and their families, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and evaluating patient needs, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other team members, ensuring seamless care delivery and promoting a positive work environment.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any concerns or issues that may impact patient outcomes.
- Participate in shared decision-making activities, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
- Graduation from a school of nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
This is a full-time, night shift position at DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Michigan. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
