Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan. As a member of our Patient Care Services Team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a diverse population of pediatric patients, including those with oncology and hematology diagnoses
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in shared decision-making activities and contribute to the development of unit-based policies and procedures
  • Delegate patient care activities to team members as needed, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in pediatric nursing, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A graduate degree in nursing is required, and experience in pediatric oncology or hematology is highly desirable.
