Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Mountain View Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using radionuclides.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical procedures in the application of radionuclides for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Assist physicians in the use of therapeutic radioisotopes and prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic purposes.
  • Check assay of radionuclides received and calibrate doses to be given.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment calibration, radiation surveys, and radionuclide receipt and use.
  • Stay up-to-date with new procedures, equipment, and methods, and participate in their evaluation and application.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician certification.
  • Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
