About the Role

Mountain View Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using radionuclides.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of technical procedures in the application of radionuclides for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Assist physicians in the use of therapeutic radioisotopes and prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic purposes.
  • Check and calibrate equipment daily, as well as maintain accurate records of equipment calibration and repairs.
  • Participate in in-service training programs and instruct the demonstration of specific techniques and equipment.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician certification.
  • Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
