Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Registered Nurse with CHRISTUS Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health problems and resources, and develop a plan of care to meet their needs.
  • Provide technical nursing care and interventions to patients, demonstrating an understanding of their functional and developmental age.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to implement and evaluate the nursing plan of care.
  • Participate in the hospital's Performance Improvement Plan and support the strategic plan.
  • May be required to cross-train to PAT and PACU with skills and knowledge to care for non-critical patients.
Requirements
  • One year of recent experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current Louisiana RN License.
  • Current BLS Card.
  • Current PALS certification.
