About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Coastal Ridge Real Estate. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of our properties, providing a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of appliances, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Assist in the turnover of units and make-readies for new residents, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation with the rest of the maintenance team, providing 24/7 support for emergency maintenance requests.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of company, property, and maintenance policies, including attending all required training.
  • Provide care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the company.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies economically.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous general maintenance experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, strongly preferred.
  • EPA Certification (Type I and II) preferred. May be required in some locations.
  • Ability to frequently walk and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to lift/move loads up to 50lbs and use a ladder.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to speak elementary English required.
