Commercial Refrigeration Engineer

Job Summary:

As a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer at Panasonic, you will play a critical role in providing engineering, estimating, and planning services to our branch or distributors to meet customer needs. You will work closely with the development, programming, and manufacturing engineering teams to develop CAD models and engineering drawings to support the production of prototypes, final designs, and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engineering studies on the most efficient type of systems requirements
  • Make recommendations to the sales department on innovative engineering approaches and advantages of various types of products
  • Work with sales, customers, and consulting engineers to ensure proper system layouts and designs
  • Assist field and customer service personnel in answering direct application inquiries
  • Develop detailed product and tooling computer models and drawings
  • Direct the expedition of tooling and product prototypes
  • Perform maintenance of CAD files in response to engineering changes

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to work outside normal working hours
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
