We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team at Alcon in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our Technician Manufacturing Team, you will be responsible for maintaining the facility infrastructure and critical systems to support our production environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance (PMs) to evaluate, modify, and originate maintenance tasks.
  • Support Facilities Group activities, including shutdowns, capital projects, continuous improvements, and PIT teams.
  • Document work accurately per company and regulatory policies, using tools like Maximo and test scripts/protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, production personnel, and outside contractors/suppliers.
  • Comply with all safety, environmental, and cGMP requirements to ensure quality and environmentally compliant operation of plant critical utilities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience.
  • Work hours: 2nd Shift (8 hours) Thursday-Monday, 1:00p.m. - 9:30p.m.
  • Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%.
  • Relocation assistance: No.
