Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ascension Living. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting, working under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic bedside care to patients, including administering medications and observing for adverse reactions.
  • Contribute to patient assessment by collecting data for analysis by a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Educate patients and families about disease treatment plans, including self-care post-discharge and available resources.
  • Assure resident safety by identifying hazards and emergency situations and taking corrective action as needed.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider certification and LPN licensure required.
  • Education: High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
