At Community Residences, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Instructor to join our team. As a Residential Instructor, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our clients with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our clients.
- Provide direct care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and transportation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Monitor and report any changes in client behavior, medical conditions, or other relevant information to the supervisor or program coordinator.
- Participate in training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in the field of human services.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
- Valid CT driver's license and a good driving record.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to transport clients as needed.
Working Hours: Friday - Monday, 2pm - 10pm
