Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team in a part-time contract position.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field and be certified or licensed as a School Psychologist in the state of CT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all student initial and re-evaluations, including student testing
  • Provide individual and group counseling to elementary students dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social issues
  • Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support during emergencies
  • Work with students, families, and school staff to address and resolve conflicts and behavioral concerns

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist, particularly with elementary-aged students, is preferred
  • Experience with diverse populations and a variety of psychological assessments and interventions

Compensation:

  • Weekly Pay
  • $48-$53 hourly rate. Pay dependent on experience and school district budget
