Supply Chain Coordinator

Overview: We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator who will be responsible for managing the timely procurement and inventory oversight, liaising with vendors, and processing purchase orders efficiently.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years in procurement or expediting support roles
- Proficient in Excel at a mid to advanced level
- Familiarity with MRP systems
- Strong negotiation abilities with a focus on collaboration and creativity
Desirable Skills:
- Basic understanding of electronic components utilized in Printed Circuit Board assembly
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generate reports from the Shortage sheet for critical parts and communicate with suppliers
- Track supplier delivery schedules and expedite orders as needed
- Regularly update the system with new delivery dates provided by suppliers and maintain the shortage sheet
- Refresh the Accounts Payable file with credit hold details
- Escalate urgent shortages to the appropriate channels when stock is unavailable
- Analyze supplier feedback on POVD to avoid delays and explore alternative sources when necessary
- Produce weekly reports on cancellations and delays, share with suppliers, and adjust purchase order details accordingly
- Engage with vendors to confirm supply availability and relay expected delivery timelines to Project Managers
- Foster interdepartmental communication to enhance operational coordination
- Collaborate with Project Managers to update delivery timelines as required
- Occasionally manage purchasing projects as needed
Compensation: $32.00 to $34.00 per hour
