Job Title: Neonatal Nursing Specialist

About this Role:

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Registered Nurse to join our team at TotalMed. As a Neonatal Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized care in Neonatal units, assessing, monitoring, and managing neonates, and collaborating with the Neonatal Registered Nurse team for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or Neonatal settings.
  • Assess neonates' health status, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
  • Perform neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development.
  • Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a smooth transition to home care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • Two years of recent Neonatal RN experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
