About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and charismatic Sales Associate to join our team at Forever 21. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver exceptional customer service by consistently greeting customers with a smile and a friendly demeanor.
  2. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and needs, offering solutions and alternatives when necessary.
  3. Proactively seek opportunities to deliver a great customer experience, ensuring each interaction is personalized and memorable.
  4. Assist in the location, availability, and selection of merchandise, providing expert knowledge and recommendations to drive sales.
  5. Utilize basic selling techniques to engage with customers, introducing current sales, promotions, credit card applications, and other brand initiatives to gain loyalty.
  6. Follow the Company's Customer FIRST model (Friendly Greeting, Identifying Needs, Responding, Suggesting and Styling, and Thanking) to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  7. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper accountability at registers.
  8. Process merchandise returns and exchanges courteously and under company guidelines, adhering to loss prevention practices.
  9. Maintain the visual standards for the selling floor, fitting rooms, visual displays, and presentations, ensuring a clean and organized store environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one year of retail sales experience and previous cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Must be energetic and charismatic, with strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to act with integrity and business maturity to ensure interactions are conducted without bias or prejudice.
  • Must be able to complete sales transactions in the POS register system.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which may include closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to spend up to 100% of working time standing and walking.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
