About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead the Material Program Management function at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to meet program requirements, ensuring a strong link within and between various Supply Chain functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Material Program Plans, Subcontract Management Plans, and other strategic planning tools to drive program success.
  • Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity plans to proactively manage mitigation plans and meet program commitments.
  • Support financial management reviews using Earned Value Management through the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process to ensure program financial health.
  • Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to drive program execution.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain functions to provide comprehensive support, as needed, to ensure program success.
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for gate reviews to ensure program readiness.
  • Oversight of subcontractor execution performance to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Forecasting material sales and meeting commitments to drive program success.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years' experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain, or similar.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • A working knowledge of MRP systems, including SAP and Kinaxis.
  • Ability to lead efforts, including budgeting and financial management, issue and conflict resolution.
  • Experience in a Matrix organizational structure.
  • Experience with Project Management.
