Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at American Woodmark. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for leading the Plant Level Team (PLT) in the overall coordination and optimization of human resources and training/development functions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the PLT in meeting or exceeding established plant goals
- Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives
- Provide counseling and resource assistance in policy, benefits, salary administration, training/development, and performance issues
- Assist the plant manager and PLT with leadership skills development
- Monitor and coordinate local/state governmental and regulatory compliance activities
- Represent the company in employment-related claims and litigation
- Plan and coordinate departmental activities to support SQDC targets
- Actively participate on assigned teams and projects
- 8-10 years human resource management experience; manufacturing preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of supervision experience; multiple departments
- Experience in developing individuals and teams in a high-performance environment
- Track record of successful project management
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
- Excellent personal computer skills in a network environment; Microsoft Office products experience preferred
- Management style consistent with CITE principles
- Strong planning/organization - time management skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
