We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Ascension Via Christi. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and record patient condition, and communicate with healthcare team members as needed.
- Coordinate Patient Care: Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, including assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.
- Communicate Effectively: Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and communicate with patients and families to ensure understanding of care plans and progress.
- Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas, BLS Provider certification, and Advanced Life Support certification within six months of hire date.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire.
