Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at Carle Health. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, and treating athletes and patients of all ages in a clinical and event coverage setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient compliance with and response to a prescribed plan of care, including therapeutic outcomes.
  • Design and implement plans of care, taking into account patient learning needs and goals.
  • Deliver physical care to athletes following medical direction, monitoring their response and results during care.
  • Provide athletic training services to contracted high schools, club events, and junior colleges as assigned.
  • Take responsibility for daily schedules of event coverage and clinical provision of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
  • Athletic Trainer License in Illinois within 6 months and Certified Athletic Trainer Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer upon hire.
  • Must be proficient and meet all requirements of the AT 1 within one year of start date in position.
