Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Oncology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Med-Surg Oncology department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and treatment to adults who are ill, injured, or recovering, with a focus on oncology patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze comprehensive data to determine patient diagnoses or issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs and situation.
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety, ensuring effective use of time, supplies, and equipment.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in Med-Surg Oncology or a related field.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred, required within 6 months of hire.
