Position Overview: Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) operates under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to execute rehabilitation programs that encompass exercises, mobility training, and various therapeutic interventions. Key duties involve collaborating with the therapy team, instructing patients on exercise methodologies, tracking patient progress, and engaging in multidisciplinary care planning sessions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited two-year college program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas
  • Preferred experience of two years in a home health care environment

Core Requirements:

  • Possession of a vehicle with insurance and a valid driver's license for travel purposes
  • Flexibility to adjust to varying schedules according to client requirements
  • Understanding of potential safety risks in the workplace

Main Responsibilities:
