We provide customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, identifying and initiating appropriate physical therapy interventions, and working cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assuming responsibility and accountability for the care of those patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs.
  • Orienting staff and students and assuming the duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in the absence of that individual.
  • Observing and evaluating treatment affect, accomplishment of short and long term goals, and recommending change to physician, if needed.
  • Performing an appropriate assessment on each patient and performing reassessments, as per policy, and performing accurate and timely QI scoring.
  • Able to assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function of participation in rehabilitation; making appropriate interventions to reduce pain; making appropriate physician contact for intervention.
  • Formulating and updating patient specific plan of care for physical therapy.

Qualifications include:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
  • Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR Card.
