Radiation Oncology Specialist

Stanford University's Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our team as a Clinician Educator. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for teaching and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality patient care in a general radiation oncology practice setting
• Develop and implement treatment plans using state-of-the-art equipment, including TrueBeam and Trilogy linear accelerators
• Participate in tumor boards and contribute to the development of treatment programs at the Turlock site
• Collaborate with the department to further develop the treatment programs at the Turlock site
• Work with the department to expand the practice by facilitating referrals, initiating and participating in local tumor boards, and identifying patients for clinical trial participation
Requirements
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Radiation Oncology
• Medical licensure in California
• Strong experience in clinical care and program building at an outpatient cancer center setting
• Experience in multi-modality treatment planning and interest in image-guided radiotherapy and stereotactic body radiotherapy
