About the Job

Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the UT Southwestern Plano Specialty Center. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Operate automated dispensing systems and manage inventory
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
  • Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
