Assembling Excellence Technician

This role requires an individual with a strong foundation in assembly and testing. The position entails accurately assembling and testing products to meet customer quality and delivery standards. Responsibilities include performing lockwiring, first-stage subassembly, and final detailing functions on routine assignments that require minimal judgment.
The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical skills, hand and power tool proficiency, and experience with mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment. They will also be able to record test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters, interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
The selected individual will be responsible for producing and inspecting assemblies that conform to product specifications, assembling/testing to customer and/or industry standards, and performing touch-up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, glaze, etc. Additionally, they will actively participate in lean initiatives by identifying areas for improvement, observe safety rules, maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area, and ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule.
The successful candidate must have at least two years of manufacturing experience, including assembly, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license and current state-required minimum vehicle insurance coverage are also necessary for driving onto company property.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
