We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Success Coach to join our team at Maricopa Community College District. As a Peer Success Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting new and continuing students in achieving their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with students through in-person, video chat, phone, and email to provide coaching and support.
- Serve as a resource for students by referring and communicating with student peers in a virtual and face-to-face environment.
- Provide one-on-one appointments to assist students in navigating their college campus and accessing resources such as counseling services, career guidance, academic intervention, financial support, and technology access.
- Coach students in areas of time management, study skills, and goal setting.
- Contribute to the overall success and retention of new students within their first academic year and beyond.
- Recruit students for the Peer Success Coach Program through tabling, presentations, and one-on-one connections.
- Experience in a formal or informal peer-to-peer mentoring program.
- Experience in a leadership role in a student club/organization or previous campus employment.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working in Google Suite.
- Desire to coach and help others achieve their goals.

Please note that this is a part-time, temporary position not eligible for benefits. To qualify for a Federal Work-Study (FWS) job, a FAFSA must be on file for the current award year and have eligible financial needs based on the college requirements.
