Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Lowe's. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering merchandise to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute delivery activities, ensuring on-time delivery of orders
  • Utilize hand-held device technology to capture signatures for all deliveries
  • Verify items on invoices with quantities loaded, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Support warehouse operations as needed, including pulling, checking, stocking, and other tasks
  • Verify daily vehicle inspections and reports, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and repairs for delivery vehicles and equipment
  • Escalate customer complaints, dissatisfaction, and procedure violations
  • Partner with sales teams and other departments to ensure efficient and coordinated customer service
  • Adhere to all safety and compliance guidelines, including policy and procedure for the operation of company vehicles and warehouse equipment
Requirements
  • Valid state-issued driver's license
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
  • 2 years of experience with box truck driving, with a Gross Vehicle Weight ranging from 14,500 lbs. to 26,000 lbs.
  • Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations
  • Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
  • 6 months of experience performing in-home delivery or retail customer service

Pay Range: $24.85 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
