Custodial Technician

The Custodial Technician role involves executing thorough cleaning and maintenance of designated areas within a specific facility or across multiple client locations. The exact responsibilities of the cleaning team may vary, thus flexibility in performing assigned tasks according to client requirements is essential.

We are currently hiring and are open to providing training.

Compensation: $9.00 per hour

The following duties are essential to meet the basic requirements of the position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned:

• Empty and sanitize all waste receptacles, transporting waste materials to designated disposal areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of all ashtrays and replenish sand as necessary.
• Dust and clean all decorative items, charts, and wall displays.
• Perform damp dusting of ceiling vents, air conditioning diffusers, and other ventilation components.
• Vacuum all mats and carpeted areas in offices, lobbies, and hallways.
• Hand dust and clean all office furniture, files, fixtures, paneling, and flat surfaces.
• Polish and clean all metal hardware and fixtures.
• Thoroughly clean and maintain tile floor surfaces as required.
• Wipe down and polish all glass surfaces.
• Clean both sides of entryway glass doors.
• Remove stains from vertical surfaces, including doors and light switches.
• Wash and disinfect all water coolers.
• Sweep and vacuum stairways as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of building floors through sweeping and mopping.
• Sanitize and restock supplies in restrooms.

To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and experience required:

• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in a custodial or janitorial role.
