Primary Responsibilities:

Leadership and Vision:

  • Direct and guide clinical programs and policy development.
  • Ensure round-the-clock RN support for patient care needs.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation among clinical personnel.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for program growth and enhancement.

Management of Clinical Operations:

  • Oversee clinical workflows, including patient admissions and care coordination.
  • Delegate and supervise clinical responsibilities for both licensed and unlicensed staff.
  • Guarantee compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Assess and enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction metrics.

Staff Recruitment and Development:

  • Manage the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for clinical staff.
  • Ensure adherence to professional standards and practices.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to clinical teams.
  • Conduct performance reviews and promote staff professional development.

Collaboration with Interdisciplinary Teams:

  • Facilitate effective communication and teamwork among interdisciplinary members.
  • Lead team discussions to evaluate patient cases and formulate care strategies.
  • Act as a mentor and resource for team members.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Implement quality assurance and performance improvement strategies.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and audits to uphold compliance and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio is required.
  • At least two years of recent clinical experience in hospice or palliative care settings.
  • BSN or MSN is preferred; a background in healthcare administration or related fields is advantageous.
  • A minimum of one year of clinical supervisory experience in new hospice programs is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in end-of-life care, pain management, and symptom management.
  • Proficient in strategic planning, budget oversight, and quality enhancement.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards relevant to hospice care.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Starting at $85,000 annually
