Chiropractor Job Description

MHC Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Chiropractor to join our Medical team at the Marana Main Health Center in Marana, AZ.

The ideal candidate will work with patients to assess their physical condition, identify health concerns, and develop personalized treatment plans using various diagnostic tests, such as x-rays or ultrasounds, to understand the patient's condition better.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports the clinical operations of MHC Healthcare.
  • Obtains and reviews patients' health histories and performs pertinent neuromuscular physical exams for proper diagnosis.
  • Follows a shared-decision making approach to develop and execute the treatment plan.
  • Creates a plan of care that focuses on the patient's overall health and wellbeing.
  • Administers holistic treatments within the scope of practice to alleviate pain and improve the function of the musculoskeletal system.
  • Builds referral relationships with other healthcare professionals and makes referrals to other doctors or specialists as needed.
  • Educates patients to improve their lifestyle, including nutrition, exercise plans, and stretches.
  • Maintains timely, detailed, and accurate records of patient information, conditions, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborates with the billing office to ensure compliance with coding and billing practices and regulations.
  • Attends conferences and workshops to stay current with developments in Chiropractic care.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
  • Valid Chiropractic license from the State of Arizona Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Professionals certification.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Physiotherapy or Acupuncture certification.
  • Experience with community health centers (FQHC).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
