Job Summary

The Health Services Director will be responsible for overseeing the Health Services Department, ensuring the highest level of care and quality of life for our residents. This is a key leadership role that requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Health Services Department
    • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, including LVNs, CNAs, and other support staff
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Clinical Operations
    • Oversee the assessment and service planning process to ensure resident care needs are met
    • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident
    • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the Health Services Department
  • Staff Development and Training
    • Provide ongoing training and education to healthcare staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for new staff members
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the Health Services Department
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Current licensure as an LVN or RN in the state of Texas
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior living or healthcare setting
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong clinical expertise and leadership skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage a team of healthcare professionals
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
