Job Summary

We are seeking a highly flexible and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Float Position, you will be responsible for covering multiple locations and providing exceptional service to patients, family members, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Float Position: Cover multiple locations and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Customer Service: Provide exemplary service, greet and direct patients, and respond to inquiries.
  • Scheduling: Schedule appointments and accurately enter data into our scheduling system.
  • Registration: Register patients and update demographic and insurance information into our EMR system.
  • Communication: Communicate with clinical staff to maintain patient flow and update waiting patients.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect patient payments and apply payments and adjustments to patient accounts.
  • Accounting: Balance daily encounter forms and cash drawers.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1 year of customer service experience required, 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

Travel Requirements

Up to 50% travel may be required for this position.
