Position Summary:
This role involves manual and semi-skilled tasks associated with advanced food service operations. Responsibilities include serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and performing limited food preparation tasks. Employees are expected to utilize skills and knowledge acquired through experience in a supportive and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and portion fruits and vegetables for various dining events.
  • Assist in the frying and baking of light meals, accommodating special dietary needs.
  • Support the setup, monitoring, and breakdown of kitchen work areas.
  • Help maintain the salad bar with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure cleanliness of preparation areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Wash and maintain kitchen utensils and equipment used in food preparation.

Qualifications:
  • Technical knowledge in food service, typically acquired through formal education or relevant experience.
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more.

Work Environment:
This position may require evening and weekend shifts, with responsibilities that include direct interaction with patrons and children under the age of 18. A commitment to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness is essential.
