Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a local contract job in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform general ultrasound imaging exams, utilizing proper technique and processing correctly marked images. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic sonography and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general ultrasound imaging exams using proper technique and processing correctly marked images
  • Calibrate and operate ultrasound equipment, complete computerized tracking and supply charges, and assist Radiologist during invasive exams
  • Perform equipment quality control, transport patients, and set up and clean up rooms
  • Available for on-call as required by department and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of diagnostic sonography
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • State License (if required)
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography
  • CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
